Hi all,

Through folks I know, I've tried to to see if Cisco on Pacific Ave
(development group housed there so not considered compatible to host
public group - Cisco Scotts Valley suggested instead but I was trying to
stay in Santa Cruz for now), Lutris (my connection broke as the person I
knew employed there was laid off with 30 others this week), Cruzio (my
ISP) could help...  so here's what's left...

someone at Sasquatch computers who helped out the PerlMongers in days
past expressed an interest but hasn't had time to respond to the email I
sent yesterday...  I will follow up.

Veteran's Hall located at 846 Front St:  the fellow I spoke with offered
us the least expensive meeting room sized at 350 sq ft (I think he said
it's legal capacity was around 40) and had one or two network ports to
the 'Net for $25 for two hours but we would need to change the meeting
time to 7-9pm to fit in their schedule. 1st Mondays of the month are
apparently open...

So if Sasquatch can't help, I vote for Max's barn...  ;-)
