Linux Software Design and Development Qualifications and Skills:

- MS/MA/BS CS/EE Degree or equivalent with 5-10 years' experience writing software for Linux systems using C or C++.
- Experience with embedded Linux and open source software.
- Experience with routing configuration, Linux routers, data modeling or CWMP.
- TCP/IP and TCP/IP services (such as DNS, DHCP, AAA) experience.
- IPv6 knowledge and experience is preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of local area networking technologies.
- Experience using any scripting language, like TCL, PERL, Python, shell scripting.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
