Unix Systems Administrator

   As a member of the Operations Team, this role is responsible for
   supporting the company with unix systems administration in dev/QA,
   production and non-production environments. The ideal candidate for
   this position should have good interpersonal skills and enjoy working
   in a fast paced environment.  The candidate will also need to manage
   multiple requests and handle them in a timely manner. Candidates must
   also have strong troubleshooting, written and verbal communication
   skills and able to work independently with little or no supervision.

Requirements:

     * Experience installing and supporting *nix OS in a physical and
       virtual environment such as ESX and Xen.
     * In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, BIND, NFS, SSH, SNMP, NTP
       services
     * Strong knowledge of operating system internals, file system
       structures and machine architectures in a UNIX operating
       environment.
     * Experience in performance tuning, package installation, patch            
       management updates, network and server management issues.                
     * Experience with automated installation tools such as kickstart.          
     * Candidates will be expected to demonstrate the ability to write          
       scripts (Perl and/or Shell) to automate processes and problem            
       solving abilities.                                                       
     * Ability to work off-hours for system upgrades, emergencies.              
     * Experienced working in dynamic, fast-paced environment with              
       well-developed practices and procedures.
     * Team-player who is flexible and able to work with end-users and          
       production issues simultaneously.
     * Experiencing implementing and maintaining a system management
     * tool       
       such as HP SIM, NMS.                                                     
     * Experience running mid-size 24x7 production systems.                     
     * Proficiency in compiling, customizing and supporting tools and           
       products obtained from source code.                                      

Basic Minimum Qualifications:                                                   

     * 5+ years professional experience administering one or more               
       enterprise level Linux operating environments.                           
     * RedHat , Sun Certifications preferred.
