-This position requires 8+ years of experience plus a Bachelor's degree
in an IT/Eng related field.

- Primarily responsibility is systems administration of Linux/Unix
network systems, infrastructure, desktop systems, etc.

- Experience specifically with Redhat, Suse, and/or Solaris is a plus.

- Additional responsibilities include: IT projects and services, general
networking support, help desk, and problem solving.

- Knowledge of general TCP/IP, networking, storage/data backup,
scripting, networking monitoring are a plus.

 

Primarily this person will work with Linux/Unix, but will also be
expected to be able to offer help desk support as well as support of
other systems and services (Windows, general network, desktop support,
etc.) when needed and/or in absence of other staff. This position will
be a member of a team of System Administrators.
