Bay Photo Lab, located in Santa Cruz California, seeks a system 
administrator experienced with Windows and *NIX OS within an Active 
Directory environment. Candidate must be willing to work after hours and 
share on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

     * Install & maintain server and network hardware
     * Install & maintain Windows Server and  *NIX based operating 
systems (Linux, BSD)
     * Develop a configuration management strategy (Puppet, CFEngine or 
Chef)
     * Configuration and analysis of server and network monitoring 
instrumentation (munin, cacti, nagios)
     * Maintain internal and customer facing web application servers 
(apache)
     * Maintain SQL databases (postgresql, mysql, mssql, sybase)
     * Maintain SVN repository
     * File bug reports and follow up with upstream vendors

Experience:

     * Strong Samba skills
     * Experience with virtualization technology (Xen) and cluster storage
     * Knowledge of shell and object oriented scripting (Python preferred)
     * Experience implementing network flow analysis solutions.

Candidate must have high level communications skills and able to work 
within a team structure.
