Android Team Lead Engineer for DTV Applications 

Zoran Corporation, located in Sunnyvale, is looking for Android Team Lead
Engineer for DTV Applications to join our DTV team. Join the elite group of
DTV engineers to develop new features and technologies for our embedded
solution for DTV products. Zoran is a leading provider of semiconductors for
digital cameras and flat panel televisions and commands significant share in
this dynamic market.

 

Position: Android Team Lead Engineer for DTV Applications group 

Position Type: Regular Full-time 

 

Job Responsibilities

Android Team Lead Engineer: Location: Sunnyvale, CA. In this position you
will be porting Android for use in digital TV platforms. You will
participate in the creation of next generation Internet TV, enable new
services Vudu, Netflix, Webkit, Android, etc in the next generation TV SoCs.
This person will be leading an existing team in Sunnyvale and coordinating
efforts from Sunnyvale with partners abroad. Some travel required. 

 

Required Skills & Experience

Candidate must have experience porting Android to a new hardware platform
and should be very strong in Linux kernel, Java and very familiar with
hardware and software multi-media and video standards.

At least 5 - 15 years industry experience.

Desired Skills and Experience

A strong background in MIPS hardware, C, C++, assembly language programming
and debugging. Experience with MIPS SMVP Linux is a plus. 

 

Education

Candidate should have a BS or MS degree preferred in EE or CS or equivalent.
