I'm looking for a top-of-their-class LAMP Engineer/Architect for a
challenging and coveted role at a global web search & media company in
Sunnyvale.

Responsibilities:

Senior level skills in Systems administration, scripting, performance
tuning, capacity planning, networking, troubleshooting
Strong understanding of systems and application architecture and
approaches to large-scale monitoring. 
Experience working with software developers and QA engineers
Will take project requirements and map them to highly available hardware
and software configurations
Work closely with development teams to ensure products are built to
optimum performance and maintainability standards
Maintain distributed systems, software configurations, releases,
debugging, troubleshooting, monitoring and run books
Help develop and implement tools to support systems availability and
user experience
Generate and analyze metrics around site performance and availability,
develop, document and disseminate key learning
Develop and implement application deployment strategies which guarantee
site integrity and zero downtime
Integrate tightly with other teams to develop, deploy and maintain Web
destinations

Skills:

Strong knowledge of Unix (Redhat & FreeBSD)
Apache
MySQL
Perl (writing)
PHP, bash
Monitoring tools (i.e. Nagios)
Tibco Rendezvous
Software configuration and deployment
