Embedded Software Engineer

Group: DTV Applications Group
Position Type:  Regular Full-time

 Local Bay Area applicants preferred

Job Responsibilities
Participate in the development of next generation Internet TV (IPTV)
software. Enable Netflix, Vudu, Yahoo, Skype, Webkit, Android type of
software features on Zoran's market leading TV SoCs.
Co-work with different S/W and H/W teams locally and globally.

Travel Requirements
Occasional travels to Japan, China and other countries for joint development
work with other Zoran teams and customers

Required Skills & Experience

  *   Meet minimum education requirements with 2-5 year's experience.
  *   Quick learner; ability to work in a team environment.
  *   Experience with development of Linux based TCP/IP networked products
for embedded systems
  *   Proficient in C
  *   Experience with embedded s/w and RTOS.
  *   Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
  *   Posses organizational and communication skills
  *   Skilled at multi-tasking

Desired Skills and Experience

  *   Experience with Internet software technologies - HTML, P2P, RTP/RTSP
  *   Experience with different video formats MPEG2, MPEG4, H.264, DivX,
RealMedia


Education
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
