[SVLUG-Jobs] CentOS linux contractor needed

SandForce Inc. (www.sandforce.com) a fabless semiconductor startup, is looking for an experienced professional linux contractor (no hobbyists please) fluent in CentOS 4.4 to 4.7 and the Red Hat equivalent to do various short-term projects.  Must be knowledgeable with at least Cadence tools, FlexLM, NIS (linux security), DNS, linux firewalls, linux based NAS and raid, linux kickstart server, and OpenVPN.  He/she should also be knowledgeable about small/medium sized business networking in particular using Netgear managed switches and Juniper and Linksys VPN/firewall appliances.

This is a part time contract position (1099) and SandForce is the direct employer.  Potential contractors must be within reasonable driving distance to Saratoga, CA (zip 95070) because some work will be required onsite.  There is the possibility of ongoing part-time contract work (again 1099) after the near term projects are done.  Contractor selected will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
