One of Robert Half's premier clients has an opening for a cutting edge
Linux Administrator. This is a 3 - 6 month contract hire opportunity.
This individual will be in charge of server administration, monitoring,
backup and internal IT support. This position requires a Linux guru,
with excellent networking skills and strong scripting abilities.
Responsibilities include server maintenance, backup, security,
monitoring, disaster recovery, and some desktop support.

 

Qualifications

 

    * 3-5 years of Linux system administration experience

    * 1-2 years of web server (Apache/Tomcat) administration experience

    * 1-2 years of database server (MySQL) administration experience

    * Experience with virtualization (VMWare/Xen)

    * Excellent communication skills

    * Mac experience a plus
