We are looking for an Linux Administrator / IT support at *hot* start-up
to support HW/SW development engineers for fulltime employment in Santa

We are looking for this person to provide solutions. Should be
independent.

Must be able to write elaborate scripts to automate common tasks and
make the engineering network environment friendlier to engineers. 

Should also be able to represent engineering interests to the corporate
IT and raise the level of IT professionalism in the corporate.

Scripting/light-programming ability is also important. Any common
scripting / programming language is fine.

Good understanding of networking and NAS storage is also important.

Supports 40 engineers (growing to 50 this year) developing software and
doing ASIC design.

Mostly using Linux desktops and Linux servers. (server support)

Storage on a netapp box, no SAN.

Must be comfortable with supporting Linux and with maintaining and
extending networks.

2+ years of relevant industry experience.

NetApp Storage box is a plus

They have  a backlog of issues that need immediate attention and the
future is to add more employees and expand the network etc.
