Required Skills:
*7+ years of Unix Systems Administration
*3+ years of Linux (SUSE Enterprise Server 9 and/or
Redhat Enterprise 3 & 4) Administration experience
* DNS - client configuration
* Kickstart configuration
* SSH - generalize use
* Veritas VXVM & VXFS
* Ethernet Configuration
* RPM
* User administration
* Fdisk
* RC processes. Example: chkconfig, service, etc.
* Iptables 
* Configuring kernel parameters
* Kernel module configuration (lsmod, modprobe, etc.)
* General knowledge of the TCP/IP Stack
* /proc file structure
* Network and Device troubleshooting at user and kernel levels
* mii-tool & ethtool
* Experienced with one or more of the following virtual consoles: RILO (HP); DELL (DRAC); or IBM (Blade Management Module) 
* scheduling and logging tools. Example logrotate, crond.
* knowledge of Intel server hardware from the following: IBM, HP or DELL.
* Knowledge of SAN Technologies 
* perl or ksh/bash shell scripting (not required but recommended) 
* Current working experience with Teradata (Preferred)
* Current working experience with NETVAULT (Preferred)
* Must be flexible with work hours 
* Current working experience with using Jumpstart servers (ABT) 

Additional Skills that would be nice to have: 
* Knowledge of MS Windows 200X server technologies 
* Knowledge of middleware skills (VCS, Weblogic, Websphere, IIS, NDM, etc.) This position is a Contract with the possibility of becoming permanent
