We are currently seeking a Principal Software Designer. 

Key Tasks include: 

*	Design and develop applications and drivers for security
products in C and C++ 
*	Write functional and design specification 
*	Write code, complete programming, perform testing and debugging
of security applications using current programming language and
technologies 
*	Identify industry trends; propose new product and enhancements
to take advantage of these trends 
*	Analyze competition, identify and suggest improvements to make
products more competitive. Will drive and incorporate customer feedback
into products 
*	May lead small to medium sized development teams through entire
product life cycle, ensuring acceptable levels of quality and
reliability 
*	May participate in hiring of new team members as a technical and
team fit interviewer 
*	Mentor Junior Engineers in technical and professional areas 
	

Required Skills: 

*	Good understanding of advanced software engineering processes
and methodologies 
*	Strong C/C++ experience 
*	Fluent in system design 
*	Thorough understanding of PC architecture 
*	Understanding of Windows Device Drivers 
*	Network infrastructure and network protocol experience 
*	MS in Computer Science, Computer engineering or Electronic
Engineering 
*	7+ years of relevant work experience 
*	Network Protocols & TCP experience 
*	Enterprise Software Experience 
*	Security development experience a plus 
*	Strong experience with OOA (Object Oriented Architecture) an
advantage 
*	Experience with OOD (Object Oriented Design) an advantage 
*	Experience with Linux OS, Linux device drivers
