We are currently seeking a Principal Software Designer. 

The chosen candidate will be involved in all phases of Phoenix product's
development process, including: requirement analysis, developing and
writing of design specifications and test plans, coding, testing, and
troubleshooting. 

Required Skills/Experience 

- Extensive hands-on experience in C/C++, UNIX/Linux system-level
multi-threaded programming
- Strong understanding of software architecture and OOA&OOP
- Ability to think abstractly and communicate effectively
- Practical knowledge of UML
- Experience designing and building highly distributed, scalable,
multi-tier, high volume applications
- Extensive experience with networking, TCP/IP
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTTP(s), HTML, XML/XSL, JSP,
JavaScript, etc.) 
- Experience with data encryption and security - a big plus
- Broad knowledge of web server technologies (e.g. Apache, IIS etc.)
- Working knowledge of SQL - s a plus
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 7 + years Networking/Embedded/BIOS design and development experience
