Position Summary

 

The Kasenna(r) training team is looking for a course development and
delivery specialist.  In this role, you will develop and deliver the
first courseware for our growing marketplace. Demand for training on
Kasenna product s is both global in scope and growing in demand. You
will add highly leveraged value to our growing business ecosystem. 

 

Duties/Responsibilities

 

Course Development

*          Conduct needs analysis to ensure course content meets
appropriate objectives. 

*          Design courses, including writing goals, objectives, and
instructional strategies for courseware. 

*          Develop course modules to schedule. 

*          Work with subject matter experts to validate course design
and content. 

*          Prepare instructors at partners and integrators of Kasenna
products by delivering train-the-trainer sessions. 

*          Update and maintaining existing courseware. 

*          Review course content and validating course quality. 

*          Work with other business owners to determine additional
curriculum needs.

*          Maintain in-depth product knowledge through research and
self-learning. 

Course Delivery

*          Deliver courses to internal, partner and customer audiences. 

*          Validate course quality by collecting and analyzing student
survey data. 

*          Record/capture and disseminate training sessions.

 

Experience/Education

*	5+ years experience as a technical trainer developing and
delivering technical instruction. 
*	Experience using instructional design models to:

	*	Analyze audience needs and tying them to business
requirements
	*	Design and develop student and instructor guides
	*	Create tests and practical lab activities
	*	Develop and deploy train-the-trainer programs

*	Strong technical knowledge of Linux, networking, client/server
applications, Java and systems administration to include:

	*	Strong administrative knowledge Linux/UNIX operating
systems
	*	Good practical working ability IP based networking
	*	Knowledge of J2EE, Apache, Tomcat, J2EE and JSP a plus
	*	Previous experience in the telecommunications sector
with an equipment provider or telco strongly desired.

*	Practical knowledge of modern electronic education delivery
channels (eLearning) and systems (learning management systems) 
*	Develop and implement strategies for improvements
*	Present technical information in easily understood terms 
*	Ongoing learning in adult education principles & techniques an
asset
*	Able to travel 40% of time
*	Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*	BSCS/MSCS, BSEE, MSEE or equivalent.  MBA is a plus.
