COMSYS, an IT Consulting group servicing clients in the Northern
California area for over 20 years has a Linux position available in the
San Jose area.

 

Position:

Senior System Administrator with recent PM or Technical Lead experience
supporting an Operations group.  This role will function as a liaison/PM
with various business units (sometimes at the Director level) to scope
projects and understand the extent of the business units needs for each
project.  Communication skills are imperative. Having the business savvy
to ask the right questions to determine the scope of the project is the
thrust of this position.

 

Required Skills: 

*Solaris, Linux, Apache

*SAN, VCS, VxVM 

* Experience in large internet based service organizations 
* Scripting expertise (Bourne, Perl, Awk, Sed, etc.)
