We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer, fulltime employee (with
benefits and stock).
Embedded Linux Software Engineer;
The embedded Linux software engineer will be working within Mobilygen's
software team on system-on-a-chip features for an audio/video codec running
a custom Linux based distribution. The duties will include a small amount of
Linux kernel development but will mostly be framework and application
development in user space.
The Embedded Software Engineer is responsible for the following:
* Developing and maintaining an embedded Linux platform
* Controlling an embedded H.264 codec.
* Help define and develop an application framework.
* Create an application that demonstrate the capabilities of
Mobilygen's SOC.
Requirements:
* BSCS and 3+ years experience in embedded systems programming
* Experience with GLib and GStreamer frameworks desirable.
* Kernel (Linux or RTOS) development experience is a plus.
* Experience using GNU C/C++ native and cross toolchains.
* Ability to work as part of a software team.
* Excellent programming skills in C/C++ with some assembly.
* Hands on experience in administering Linux workstations is a
plus.
