We have a 3-6mnth contract opening in Belmont for a Linux Platform
development engineer.

Key Responsibilities: Specify, create, and update Linux based x86 chassis
configurations to meet the needs of both Product Management and Software
Development. 

Qualifications
Familiarity with RPM required 
Familiarity with RHEL and/or Fedora Core a significant plus 
Strong documentation skills 
Strong C and some x86 assembler coding (assembler needed in Linux device
driver context) 
Familiarity with PCI standards 
Familiarity with accessing PCI devices from x86 processors 
Familiarity with storage interfaces (hardware RAID, SATA) 
Familiarity with power standards APM and/or ACPI 
Successful delivery of custom PCB & associated mounting hardware.
