  We are looking for a System Administrator / IT Manager to join our expanding team working with Mobilygen's H.264 video chips.
   
  Position is located in Santa Clara.
   
  System Administrator / IT Manager
   
  Reports to: Sr. VP of Engineering
   
  Responsibilities:
  Installation, configuration, and administration of UNIX/Windows servers/Desktops in development and production environments
  Administration and support of Cisco network devices (PIX, VPN, Router, Catalyst switches)
  Monitor network/systems health. Performance tuning. Ensure highest systems/network uptime. Patch and upgrade management. 
  Backup administration.
  Provide support to a highly remote user population. 
  Administration and support of various NAS technologies (EMC, NetAPP, JBOD).
  Support VOIP phone system.
  Write scripts to monitor and automate processes in production environment.
  On-call responsibilities outside of normal business hours.
  Administration of accounts and privileges. Policy enforcement.
  Write and maintain procedural documentation.
  Propose, implement, and sustain IT security policy, and infrastructure that reduces vulnerabilities and protects corporate assets.
   
  Required Experience and skills
  7+ years systems administration (RedHat Linux/Fedora) Must include desktop support.
  5+ years experience deploying and supporting servers in a 24/7 environment.
  5+ years Cisco networking (PIX, VPN, routers, Catalyst switches.
  Microsoft systems administration on Windows 2000/2003/XP.
  Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, Samba, DHCP, NIS, NFS, CIFS, SMTP, BIND, Apache, CVS, SVN, FTP, SSH.
  Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  Strong script programming skills (shell, perl, sed, awk, etc).
  Experience with Apache and Subversion.
  Strong oral and written communication skills.
  Must be a self starter and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  Desired Experience Skills and Education:
  FlexLM license management experience.
  GridEngine Grid Computing Software experience.
  Experience with Apple OSX.
  Barracuda Spam Firewalls.
  Fortinet devices.
  RedHat Certification
  Cisco Certification
  EMC/NetApp Certification
  BS in Computer Science/Engineering + all applicable skills and experience
