About the company:

Cswitch is a well-funded startup in Santa Clara, CA, developing a
high-performance FPGA specifically for networking/storage and telecom
markets. The founders of our company have implemented a patented
approach (based on their processor design experience) to move and edit
packets at 1Ghz+ in order to achieve ASIC-level on-chip bandwidths of
100Gbps+ or 5-10X the performance of a Xilinx/Altera FPGA. The chip
also incorporates standard cell blocks that improve effective gate
densities by as much as 10X. Cswitch's chip is appropriate for a
multitude of aggregation, traffic management and packet pre-processing
applications in routers, switches, san switches, RAID storage, DSLAMs,
SONET and security and intrusion equipment.
