Albin Engineering Services, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated Linux 
System Engineer/Administrator for a ONE YEAR PLUS, W-2 CONTRACT for our 
aerospace/defense client in Sunnyvale, CA. The candidate would serve in a 
number of roles including that of client/server administrator for both 
Windows and Linux based systems, team member, and project coordinator. 

Must have a strong technical background and be able to fulfill the 
following responsibilities: 
-  Installation, configuration and administration of Windows and Linux 
client/server
-  Problem analysis and resolution, patch management, and architecting and 
implementing cabling solutions in both fixed and mobile environments to 
include wiring closet configurations
-  Must be able to work in a multi-team, multi-vendor environment and 
successfully collaborate with software designers and/or system engineers 
in the installation, configuration, and testing of s/w and h/w used in the 
management of communications systems
-  Must demonstrate expert knowledge of networks, DNS, DHCP with 
experience in script writing, especially login scripts
-  Strong organizational skills are a must
-  Must demonstrate knowledge of skills related to computer security with 
emphasis on server hardening
-  Knowledge of Clearcase and ClearQuest required
-  Candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
-  Position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and 
the ability to muti-task
-  Must be available to work on-call, overtime, and provide off-hours 
support as required
