We are looking for self motivated individuals with outstanding
problem-solving skills and solid Linux Kernel-level development
experience in a team setting.

 

This engineer will support the platform for IPICS line of products. 
Position requires experience with RedHat 3 support and distribution,
including building, updating, configuring OS as well as enforcing
security of the platform. 
This position requires strong communication skills, ability to interact
with application developers as well as other teams involved in Linux
platform configuration. Candidate must be able to work with minimal or
no supervision.  We are looking for a goal-oriented engineer capable of
delivering platform solution in time. 

 

Required skills
Linux, RedHat 3, kickstart, anaconda, RPM, shell, Python, Linux
administration.
Must understand how to enforce platform security. 
Application installation experience, knowledge of InstallAnywhere or
InstallShield is a plus.


Education
BSEE/CS combined with 3-5 years of related experience.
