Technical Assistance Specialist - San Jose, California 


Job Description
This position requires providing 3rd-tier customer support for 2wire’s Mediaportal product. This position requires liaising with our Tempe customer support center and engineering here in San Jose. Experience with satellite technologies preferred.

Qualifications
Skills required are: 

  3+ years of technical assistance experience. 

  Excellent troubleshooting skills (using logs, trouble-ticket reports and management consoles). 

  Excellent communication skills. 

  Familiarity with Linux environment (shell, SSH, SCP, FTP). 

  Experience with networking (setting up small test networks, routers, switches). 

  Candidate requires a strong sense of problem ownership and ability to interact with QA, TAC and engineers to ensure follow-up and resolution. 

Education

  Computer diploma.
