PostPath (formerly known as Apptran Software) is a dynamic, venture funded
silicon valley startup seeking a qualified Senior Technical Support Engineer
to join our team and help us grow. We are currently looking for a Senior
Technical Support Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

*	Develop deep knowledge of our enterprise e-mail/message products.
*	Analyze complex real-world usage scenarios using a variety of tools:
commercial, open source, and internally developed tools. Tools include
network sniffers, scenario simulators, data permutation generators, load
generators, etc.
*	Enhance and extend our formal knowledge base: articles shared with
customers, internal wiki pages, internal and external training/briefings.
*	Assist customers with planning and executing their software
deployments. These deployments will be complex environments: multiple
sub-nets, multiple directory controllers, multiple DNS servers, mixed OSes,
mixed network protocols, etc.
*	Provide guidance to QA and Development on how we can improve our
product and processes
*	Primary activities will be in the office. Occasional travel may be
required.

Requirements

*	Comfortable working in both Windows and Linux environment
*	Experience with Enterprise Messaging/Email Software
*	Comfortable working in complex network environments: LDAP, DNS,
firewalls, MTA servers, etc.
*	Experience scripting (Shell/Perl/etc.)
*	Comfortable working in fast-paced environment
*	Experience working with structured software engineering development
process that includes standardized tools for tracking defects and customer
contacts.
*	Experience working directly with customers and IT users via phone
e-mail, remote desktop, etc.
