Perforce Support Specialist/Junior Administrator


 

Will take day to day charge of the ticket support queue, triaging tickets,
re-assigning those tickets that can not be resolved, creating and updating
support documentation. Write tools to automate tasks and investigate ways to
improve the level of support we can offer. Generate and publish support
metrics (tickets submitted, tickets closed, open time for each ticket,
etc.). Must have focus and interest to develop Perforce skills to a more
advanced level.

 

*	BS in Computer Science or other technical field. 

*	1 - 2 + years experience in software engineering, revision control,
and/or software configuration management. 

*	Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux. 

*	Good knowledge of Python or Perl. Other languages are a plus. 

*	Good knowledge of Perforce. 

*	Ability to work well with developers 

*	Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and
written.
