We are looking for a Software Test Engineering Lead to work on the
Scyld cluster operating system. This is an opportunity to work with
pioneers of the Linux movement and the inventors of Linux
clustering. You will join a small team of professionals working on
exciting, industry-leading operating system products and concepts.
You will help us improve and evolve our existing product, while
researching and implementing new concepts to advance Linux single
system image clustering to the next level.
Technical Requirements
If you are a strong, process-oriented senior software test engineer
with at least 6 years experience in cooperative software engineering
projects, and have recent experience developing test plans for
operating system products, we would like to talk to you. In
particular we're looking for experience in any of these areas:
as project lead for team of test engineers.
developing and executing test plans for operating systems,
preferably Linux or Unix.
with testing Intel servers.
mentoring junior test engineers.
Knowledge of Linux and how a Linux distribution is put together,
including packaging, installation and management software,
especially RPM.
In addition, the following are desirable:
Experience testing cluster file systems.
Understanding of high performance computing, distributed
computing and MPI.
Understanding of shared-nothing clusters.
Networked system administration and monitoring tools.
Creative problem solver with good written and oral
communication skills.
