CONTRACT PROJECT - Linux Kernel/Driver 2.6 Project:

Our client located in San Jose is looking for a very experienced Linux
Kernel driver engineer with 5-7 years experience working primarily with
Linux.   The right consultant will have worked actively with server
systems with many GB of memory in the system configuration under Linux
2.6 kernels.  Must have experience with all sort of issues related to
the data path in hi-memory configurations. This person will also need to
be a strong  x86 person to port a driver from 32bit to 64bit in a SUSE
Linux environment.  The manager needs existing drivers to be
consolidated and more efficient. Duties involve sustaining and debugging
an existing device driver for a host controller under multiple Linux
platforms Redhat and Suse (they are supporting all versions not just
2.6).  Prior experience with writing SCSI drivers or other storage
