We are a search firm, helping the following company try to find qualified candidates for:  Senior QA/Test Engineer
 

Our client is a fast-growing company.  They build a market-leading WAN accelerator network appliance.  Their Platform team is looking for a QA/Test Engineer to work closely with other QA and development engineers.

 

Qualifications:

·        Strong in Python, Perl, or shell scripting is a necessity; C language skills a plus.

·        Familiar with Linux/Unix

·        Experienced in TCP/IP networking

·        Curiosity, and an understanding of how computer HW operates

 

Duties to include:

·        Developing and documenting test methodologies for device drivers and other code interfacing to x86 HW.

·        Creating and running automated test scripts focusing on both functionality and performance.

·        Potentially enhancing our product with informative diagnostics to help customers, resellers, and field engineers.

 

The location is either downtown SF or Bayside Mtn. View.  They have an excellent quality-oriented engineering environment with a high ratio of QA to development engineers and an amazing automated QA lab.
