My client is looking for a Sr. Linux Systems Administrator to support and
maintain mission critical Linux production systems. The environment is 100%
linux. Position requires 5 year experience with Linux technology with
emphasis on networks.

Requirements:
5+ years of progressive systems support experience a fast-paced
production/network environment.

Knowledge of multiple Linux platforms: RHEL, Debian, Fedora, SUSE, etc.

Unix/Linux Scripting, including Shell, Perl: Willingness (or better
said, passion) to automate all repetitive tasks

Knowledge of IP protocols including: SMTP, DNS, HTTP, SSL, SSH, Radius,
LDAP, etc

Knowledge of application  platforms such as: jBoss, Apache, J2EE

Strong knowledge of: LDAP, Radius, NIS/NFS, BIND, Sendmail, rsysnc,
Backup, etc.

Solid understanding of network and hosts security

Experience supporting development and collaboration environments: CVS,
Bugzilla, WiKi, gForge, etc.

Good knowledge of monitoring systems: Nagios, Cricket, OpenView,
NetSNMP, etc.

Experience running a minimum of 50 production Linux servers in remote
lights out data center environment
