Senior Linux Software Engineer
Salary: $100 - $130K - Direct Hire
San Ramon, CA - 
        
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Designing, implementing, and delivering new features into an existing
product line.
* Collaborating with QA team to ensure test procedures effectively
detect any required changes.
* Developing documentation in conjunction with FAE and Marketing teams.
* Producing robust and efficient code on schedule and on budget.
* Working with management team on assessing feasibility of future
products. 
        
Requirements:
* Bachelor*s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
* 7+ years of software development experience
* Strong knowledge of Linux kernel-level programming and debugging
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong knowledge of storage subsystems and algorithms (e.g. RAID,
storage virtualization, and file systems)
        
Previous experience in architecting and writing code for file systems
and extensive programming experience with SCSI and iSCSI protocols is
preferred. Ideal candidate will also have familiarity with TCP/IP.
