3+ years developing sophisticated (multi-tier, multi-threaded) systems 
Expert level understanding of C++ development in an OO environment 
Development in a Linux/UNIX environment 
SQL 
Education: BS CS/EE or equivalent required 

Desired: 

Familiarity with iSeries and OS/400 applications 
Familiarity with DB2 


Server applications team seeks a senior software engineer who has the
ability to understand, design, and develop complex and sophisticated
software applications. Your knowledge of developing large software
applications while using sophisticated source control systems will be
fully utilized. 

In this position you will be jointly responsible, along with the server
team, for the overall product that company delivers to its customers.
These responsibilities include the maintenance and continual refinement
of existing functionality. They also include the design and
implementation of new features that expand the capability of the server
software, interface with third-party software components, and further
the company's reputation for ease of use and overall system robustness. 

A senior-level position on the server applications team most importantly
involves applying your enthusiasm to every aspect of software
development. 

Server Application Team Technologies: 
The server team develops in an OO C++ environment with multithreading,
remote interfaces, client/server support, SQL, and interoperability
among the product requirements.
