Title: Implementation Consultant
Reports to: Director of Strategic Services
Location: Mountain View, CA

Role
As an intergral member of Company's Strategic Services, the Implementation
Consultant holds primary responsibility for the technical success of the
customer.  Working with the Program Manager and Business Analyst, the
Implementation Consultant will plan, build and deliver solutions to the
customer. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that requires deep
technical knowledge. 

To fill this strategic and challenging position, we are looking for someone
with strong problem-solving skills and a wide range of cross-disciplinary
knowledge in hardware, software, and networking. 

You will be responsible for training, rollout, and monitoring of the
technology, always watchful of customer satisfaction and value delivery.
Your ability to understand the relationship between technology and the
business will be the key factor in engaging customers in a way that ensures
mutual success.  You will enjoy creating structure and processes during
customer implementations.  Finally, Implementation Consultants will also act
as a critical interface between development and product marketing to
guarantee the viability of our software. 

Product

The product is an enterprise-scale software system built on Java and SQL
database technology with inter-module communication and GUI based on XML and
Web Services. 

Education

Technical BS in Engineering from a respected University with superior
academic performance. 

Work experience

Our implementation consultant will have demonstrated experience in most of
the following environments/skills:
.	Implementation Consultant at Enterprise Software Firm or Big 5 with
subsequent enterprise software industry experience 
.	Work experience in an Early Stage Startup 
.	Onsite customer facing experience 
.	Proficient at SQL; solid understanding of Oracle or other RDBMS
administration 
.	UNIX and scripting languages - shell, perl and AWK 
.	Good understanding of WinNT/2K/XP 
.	Broad exposure to technology and understanding of different asset
classes - servers, storage, network 
.	Solid foundation of UNIX system administration 
.	Installing and configuring complex enterprise systems on UNIX, such
as an ERP system 
.	Ability to understand and assess customer needs and communicate
related product enhancements to development and product design teams 
.	Minimum work experience of 6-8 years
