*Linux Device Drivers & Net BSD position*

1. Project duration: at least one year +


2. Start date of the project: as soon as possible


3. *A brief role for these contractors*. We are looking for someone who has
strong experience and interest in kernel programming, preferably with some
experience in NetBSD (or a BSD variant) kernel programming. NetBSD kernel
programming experience. Contractors will be responsible for integrating into
our version of NetBSD new technologies and techniques we are developing
within the OS group. Contractors will work closely with the researchers
whose technology they are integrating within NetBSD.

Organization in the East Bay.

 Qualifications required:

*1. **Red Hat Certified Technician or Red Hat Certified Architect *

2. 10 years plus of industry experience

3. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering

4. Excellent written and oral communications

5. Ability to teach and present technology concepts effectively to different
kind of users

6. Ability to connect use of a technology to client's infrastructures

7. In depth with Open Source technologies
