System Development Engineer

An opportunity exists for a talented System Development Engineer that 
has experience in developing embedded system through the development 
process from requirements, planning, designing, coding, testing, 
integration, and lifecycle. This opportunity is a chance for a talented

The System Development Engineer will be responsible for the design and 
coding of network and embedded system drivers for products in the 
network and application management space.

Responsibilities

. Taking kernel or driver implementations through requirements, 
 planning, design, code, test and integration. . Interacting with a 
variety of hardware and software design  teams to design and implement 
feature requests.
. Daily interaction with other developers and disciplines in the 
 Engineering organization.


Skill requirements

. Minimum of 5 years of embedded firmware/software programming  experience.
. In-depth experience with NDIS/device driver development on  Linux or 
embedded OS platforms.
. Experience with network driver or protocol development on  embedded 
systems.
. Knowledge of network protocols and devices. . Experience implementing 
products hand-in-hand with marketing,  support and engineering teams.
. Experience working with groups of peers focused on a common goal.
. Deadline and results oriented, with attention to detail.
. Self-motivated, independent, with the ability to take initiative.
. MS in EE or CS required.

The successful candidate will be highly attentive to details, able to 
produce under tight deadlines, self-motivated and a good team player.

The position will work for the Engineering organization in the company's 
south Fremont, CA office.
