We are a high-tech consulting company in Sunnyvale and we currently have a
Sr. Linux Systems Engineer  position available at our client in San Jose. We
have direct contact with the hiring manager and he is looking for a
candidate that has the following skills :

* 10-12 years of Linux Experience in a multiplatform environment


* Solid understanding of a Linux operating system ; inter-process
communication, Kernel , Linux Internals ,devices and what device drivers do,
file system concepts etc. 

* Solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment
concepts; NFS /NIS/DNS. 


* Ability to program in an administrative language (Tk, Perl, shell),
C-programming language , and to write small C or C++ programs.
