Client Company:
This position is on the peninsula with a major player in the commercial
Internet space. They've done well in the best of times as well as the
worst of times.  With the growing economy, they're growing now more than
ever.   I have worked with this hiring manager for over 5 years at
various companies.  
This position hasn't been written up by the client as of yet but I've
staffed his team before and knows what he looks for.  Again,  if you're
qualified, I WILL get you results.
 
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Technologies:
This is a Cisco shop with, for now,  about 50 network devices.  The site
gets many million hits per day and has datacenters in 3-4 countries.
Hardware goes up to Cisco's 6000 series routers.
Strong skills with routing protocols OSPF and HSRP are important.  IGP
understanding would be ideal.

Other skills:
. Experience with various UNIX/Linux flavors required, including:
        o Sun Solaris  o Linux (Mandrake, RedHat/FC preferred)
. Perl/sh script authoring experience required (with code examples)


Required education:
. BS or equivalent work experience
