include identity management services, enterprise class open source platform
and services, application integration, and cross-platform management
services. All solutions are supported by strategic consulting, technical
support and educational services. 

We are actively seeking experienced Linux and infrastructure specialists to
work in a pre-sales role focused on Novell's SUSE, Open Enterprise Server
and Novell's collaboration services. 

The Category Specialist on the Network and Systems Management (NSM) team
provides technical leadership to the customer. Requirements for this
position include: 
Strong technical knowledge in Linux, Open Source Software (OSS) and
networking services 
Good communication skills with customers, and the extended Novell Account
team 
Excellent presentation skills and ability to articulate business value with
respect to Novell solutions 
Strong follow up skills and a proactive approach to engaging with customers
in the sales effort 
Build and demonstrate Novell solutions that showcase the business value of
Novell product offerings 
Taking a proactive role in identifying and implementing proof-of-concept
systems in customer environments based on a sales opportunity 

The position requires an ability to work well in a virtual team environment
and possess strong communication and leadership skills. The candidate must
be a self-starter who can take ownership of opportunities and involve the
necessary resources to drive Novell's business. 

Requirements also include traveling up to 30% based on location.
