Job description:

Vado is seeking a talented Linux Admin/Device Developer with 6-8 years
of IT experience. At least five years Linux system administration
experience in a Heterogeneous environment. With solid understanding of
networking/distributed computing environment concepts.

Skills:
*NFS /NIS/DNS
*Knowledge of routing concepts. 
*Solid understanding of a Linux operating system
*Inter-process communication
*Kernel, Linux internals
*Devices and what device drivers do, file system concepts etc. 
*Solid understanding of networking/distributed computing 
environment concepts
*Understands principles of routing, client/server programming, the 
design of consistent network-wide file system layouts. 
*Ability to program in an administrative language (Tk, Perl, a shell), 
to port C programs from one platform to another
*Write small C or C# programs
*Ability to solve problems quickly and automate processes
*Strong interpersonal and communications skills
*Capable of writing proposals or papers, making presentations to 
internal users/IT
