Wanted: C/C++ Linux SERVER DEVELOPER. This is a chance to really impact the
product from the start as one of the FIRST engineers hired on the team AND A
KEY CONTRIBUTOR at this very HOT startup. 

As part of a small team designing and developing C/C++ linux applications
and libraries for our Digital Rights Management system. We are a software
start-up in stealth mode started by serial entrepreneurs that have already
changed the world once and are looking to do it again!  We are hiring
engineers to be key players in single-digit employee organization. We are
located in San Francisco. We offer an excellent work environment,
competitive salary, stock options and benefits package and extremely
interesting work.

You will work with other members of the server team and the database
architect to develop an extremely high load database-driven server
application, back-end data processing systems and data archiving systems.

Requirements:
* Hard working, self motivated, startup mentality, fast learner, team player
with a "do what it takes" attitude. 
* In-depth knowledge of C/C++ and extensive experience with Linux software
development
* Extensive experience building scalable tiered network server applications
that supports thousands/millions of users
* Experience in working on several releases of a scalable networked server
from concept to delivery!)
* Experience with designing and extending custom networking protocols
* Extensive experience accessing Oracle databases (or similar)
* Experience building fault-tolerant applications
* Experience with developing a product from requirements to deployment
* Excellent oral and written communication skills

Desired Skills:
* Knowledge of P2P network design
* Knowledge of other programming languages
* Experience with Oracle OCI
* Open source or shareware contributor a big plus
* Music lovers welcome
